Wondering what things to do in Los Cabos in April? April’s weather is beautiful, and it doesn’t have some of the heat that comes with summer months. The weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and celebrating the beginning of spring. If you’re visiting Cabo, here are some events you might want to attend.
1. Catch the tail end of whale season.
Whale watching season officially ends April 15, so there’s time to squeeze in a tour if you’re visiting within the next week. These whales now head back up in to colder waters near Alaska to feed.
2. Semana Santa and Pascua
This means “Easter Break,” which runs from about April 9th to April 16th. During this time, Cabo is typically at its peak occupancy. Easter celebrations are all over the place, and you may get to see some typical Mexican traditions.
3. Paws and Claws Golf Tournament
This event takes place on April 12. It is a golf tournament at the world-famous Palmilla golf course, which benefits the Los Cabos Humane Society. You can learn more about it here. If you love golf, this is a great opportunity to golf at a beautiful golf course for a great cause.
4. Dia de los Niños
April 30th is Children’s Day, a day where children’s importance in society is celebrated. If you are with your kids in Cabo on this day, give them an extra hug and tell them how much they mean to you.
5. San Jose del Cabo Art Walk
From January to June, this art walk attracts visitors and residents every Thursday evening. Stroll through the art district, sip wine, and check out some fantastic local artists. April’s weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and taking in some culture.
