01 Dec Free Activities in Los Cabos
After booking a flight, getting a nice hotel room, and paying for food, vacation costs can add up quickly. Plus, if you want to do any activities, those are going to cost money as well. If you’re looking to save some money when exploring a new city, free attractions are the way to go. Luckily, there are tons of free activities in Los Cabos that provide excitement and something to do.
Seeing a local landmark is usually free. El Arco, or Land’s End, is an interesting rock formation located at the end of the peninsula between Playa del Amor and Playa del Divorcio. El Arco is great for a more tranquil, romantic spot for couples, and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Viewing Land’s End is one of the most popular activities in Los Cabos.
Chileno Beach is perfect for a relaxing day spent lying out in the sun. Also, the lack of restaurants means you need to come prepared with your own snacks and drinks. The calm, shallow water also makes it a perfect spot for snorkeling. Along the corridor that connects Cabo San Lucas with San Jose del Cabo is home to tons of beaches that are always free to enjoy.
Museo de Historia Natural
Located in a town square and easily identifiable by the whale skeleton out front, the Museum of Natural History is one of the fun and free activities in Los Cabos. The museum includes exhibits of geology, paleontology, archeology, and the culture of the inhabitants of the Baja Peninsula. There are also tons of cool exhibits on the marine life, environment, and landscape of Cabo. The museum runs on donations, but the entrance is free.
