19 Nov Los Cabos Activities
From ATV tours to whale watching to luxurious resorts, Cabo has a lot to offer. While it is important to hit the hot spots, which you can read more about here, one of the best things to do is get off the beaten path and take the road less traveled. There are tons of Los Cabos activities that will make you feel like you’re getting access into a side of Cabo most people don’t see. If you’re looking for Los Cabo activities off the beaten path, check out our suggestions for ways to spice up your vacation.
1. Rent a Car
This is an awesome way to control your vacation. Instead of relying on buses, taxis, or walking, rent a car to drive around on your own. With your own car, you’re not restricted to what a tour tells you to do. Take a drive down the highway, and make stops at beaches and secluded towns along the way. Most often, these smaller, less crowded towns will have relaxing restaurants and a more of a Mexican culture vibe.
2. Visit the Natural Reserves
With all of Cabo’s beautiful landscape, it is not surprising that there are entire reserves dedicated to animals, flowers, and vegetation. However, it is surprising that most people overlook these natural reserves. Check out San Jose’s Estuary and Bird Sanctuary and Cabo Pulmo National Park. These parks provide a break from the bustling atmosphere of the tourist areas.
3. Stop by the Vitrofusion Glass Factory
Glass factories are always a beautiful place to visit no matter what country you’re in. This glass factory provides demonstrations of hand-blown glass and the option for you to have some hands-on fun. Young kids will love getting to watch a professional blow and paint the glass. The gift shop is stocked full of artfully crafted pieces that make the perfect personalized souvenir for your loved ones.
All of these are Los Cabos activities that will taken you off the beaten trail and into more unique areas of Los Cabos!
